The road to a North Carolina dual-team wrestling championship has gone through Winston-Salem the past four seasons. It went through there again Thursday at the 4A West region final.
But the dual-team meet wasn’t over after the Parkland Mustangs beat the Lake Norman Wildcats 42-27 to pick up their 215th -consecutive win. The coaches shared some words over a possible video scandal, and wrestlers almost got into a fight while shaking hands.
